Unifoil has its roots in surf foiling and is known worldwide for pioneering innovations - the very first High-Aspect Foil was designed by Unifoil founder and CTO Clifford Coetzer. This concept has sold more than any other on the market and revolutionized foil design in boardsports.
All foil shapes are meticulously developed and tested before they hit the market. To match the high-performance design, Unifoil uses only high-end materials - from full carbon to titanium inserts and screws. The product range includes high-end hydrofoils for wing, prone, downwind, SUP and wake foiling.

Designer and CTO

Clifford is an experienced industrial engineer, and his passion and experience in the development of gliders and remote-controlled model airplanes have carried over to the development of high-performance hydrofoils.

General Manager
Toby has a professional surfing background, has over 20 years experience in surfboard manufacturing and 5 years in foil production. Toby worked for his father in many famous Australian surfboard factories. He has been running the Unifoil brand since he switched to 100% foils in 2017.

Dom
Global Sales Manager
Dom started in the surf industry in 2013 as a manager and buyer for his local surf store in California, which eventually led him overseas to production management and product development. After working for brands like Surf-Tech and Boardworks, he then moved into brand management and sales. He has a great passion for foiling and the ocean and loves to share it with others.

Paul Burnett (PB)
Team & Brand Manager
PB competed in the ASP World Surfing Tour (equivalent to the WSL) in 1985. After his active competition days, he began a 27-year career in the surf industry, including surfboard factory manager, surfboard, skateboard and apparel salesman, and national sales manager for several companies including Hot Buttered and SMP. In 2018, Paul started foiling and is one of the founding members of the Lost Boys Foil Club along with James Casey. PB is considered one of the "original gangsters" of foiling with many interviews and podcasts under his belt. PB joined Unifoil in 2021 as Brand Manager and is one of the key members of the team.
